A Home Bakery

I've been holding tea parties for friends for over 35 years, and have always wanted to open a tea room.  These unprecedented times  encouraged me to take the leap and "open" in a different way -- by offering my English-style scones baked in my home kitchen.  I follow some traditional recipes, but add my own twist!

I can deliver in the Pasadena, CA area, or 

you are welcome to pick them up from the Bungalow.

I fell in love with England and the tradition of "Afternoon Tea" as a college student studying theatre in London. In the years that followed, I tirelessly sought out places to have tea, and became passionate about baking my own tea-time treats.  And to this day, no visit to the UK is ever complete without gathering with friends to make and eat homemade scones after a nice long walk in the countryside. 

In 2019, I completed the 20-week "Pro-Baking series" at the New School of Cooking in their commercial kitchen.  I'm launching my home bakery with my delicate fresh-baked scones, which evoke glorious summer picnics or cozy crisp afternoons in front of the fire. They've been delighting friends and colleagues for many years, and I'm so excited to share them now with you.
